…Someone from the rulers house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.’ But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well”.
Lisa has an appointment April 1st (April Fools day!) in Honolulu for another ultrasound and an echo cardiogram. Based on how these go will determine if Lisa gives birth in Kona or Honolulu.
It has been a trying season of life but we have been hearing God’s voice clearly, and sensing His presence tangibly. Verses, such as the one above, have been coming up almost daily. The message we seem to be getting is “don’t be afraid, believe, and rejoice”. The peace of God that surpasses understanding, mentioned in Philippians 4, has been very real for us. We just know she is fine. That being written, we both have our moments of doubt, discouragement, and unbelief.
Some of the words God has spoken to us in the bible are as follow (if you want to check them out and pray through them with us): Isa54 and 55, 2 Chronicles 20 (about King Josiah) , Zephaniah 3:17, Psalm 105, Psalm 103, etc. etc.
While Samuel was brewing in Lisa’s belly, both Lisa and I felt God speak to us a girl’s name. That name was Rumellah… just kidding! We both felt God say that we would have girl named Ruby. Later He told us when to have Ruby (June 2013). That is her name! A few weeks ago I felt prompted, by God I suppose, to look up how rubies are formed. The geologist writing the article stated that they are not sure how rubies are formed. He stated “rubies are a minor geological miracle”. The little gems baffle scientists. There is no way they should come out red, it is a mystery. I immediately drew a connection. The doctors are saying one thing, God is saying another… Ruby is a miracle!
Thank you all so much for your prayers and encouragement. Please be praying with us:
1) That we would continue to be sensitive to Gods leading.
2) For Ruby to be totally healthy
3) For us to believe what God has spoken
4) For a good report on April 1st
Thank you and God Bless,
Morgan, Lisa, Samuel, Ruby
