"That I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed unto his death." Philippians 3:10
DTS: We are currently wrapping up week three of the Discipleship Training School (DTS). We have 8 students (7 girls and 1 guy), and 5 staff (including Lisa's sister Samantha). Boy has it been a tough ride thus far. Each of us shared our life stories during the first few days. There is lots of brokenness. A few of the different words used were "drugs, abused, suicide, stripping, depression, homeless..." One student in particular has literally come to us straight out of a lifestyle of many of those things listed. Heavy stuff. The beauty of it all is knowing what God can do in her life. She has come here seeking and I know He will be faithful in answering. That's what I love about working with the DTS. We have seen student after student come and receive healing, freedom, and their identify through the love of Jesus. It has been an exhausting and challenging three weeks thus far. We are still figuring out how to balance our responsibilities as DTS leaders, our family time, our marriage time, personal time with the students, time alone with Jesus, etc. It's hard to separate this all when you live in such close quarters. Despite all this, it is an honor and a privilege to be a part of this season of their (the students') lives. We really get to see all that God is capable of. Please pray for God's all sufficient grace for us as we lead this school, disciple staff/students, and live in such close quarters with lots of people.

Outreach: We are sending the students to do outreach in Panama! They will spend most of the outreach on the island of Bastimentos (for more information on this go to ywamships.net website or previous posts!). We will keep you all posted.

Los Angeles/Orange County? Last friday I (Morgan) had a realy zany idea come through my head. " Take the DTS to LA to finish the lecture." We processed going to LA with our leaders and they were surprisingly enthusiatic about it. Apparently our sailing yacht El Encuentro will be hosting fundraisers in Orange County during the dates we would be down there. So, it would be perfect timing for us to have a team down there to help. Also, that very boat will be heading down to Panama to the exact location where our team is heading to for outreach!
We will be heading to the LA area September 5th or so with our DTS! We have no idea where we will live, do class, etc. Maybe at YWAM LA? In the South Bay? Or in the OC? Please pray that God would open the doors that need to be opened and that he would make things clear to us as we go.

Also, please pray for Samuel. He is currently sick for the third time in six weeks. He has an ear infection and terrible congestion that is making it impossible for him to sleep well!

Lastly, we are in need of monthly financial supporters. Please consider partnering with us in both discipling and sending out young people and ministering to the isolated islands. A monthly contribution of just $25, $50, or $100 would be awesome! If you are interested, feel free to contact us or just click here to set it up http://www.uofnkona.edu/support/missionaries/?id=5638&search=keach
Thank you for all of your prayers.
