Celebration, updates, mourning...

Greetings Friends and Family,

Where to begin...well, our students returned from Panama and graduated just over a week ago!  They made it back safe and sound, God worked in and through them along the way, and they each say that going through a DTS (Discipleship Training School) changed their lives!  Knowing Jesus better has changed their lives.  The last few months have been hard and while we were in California I (we) really didn't want to come back.  We kind of just wanted to settle into a "normal" life back home: have a "whole" place of our own rather than live in a motel room; work for regular paychecks rather than simply believing in faith that all our expenses will be covered one way or another; be near our family and friends rather than feeling quite isolated and lonely quite often.  Then during their graduation I was struck again by the privilege and honor it is to do what we do and I "counted it all loss" (reference Philippians 3:8).  As one girl in particular stood up and shared where she was when she first got here (drinking, drugs, in a physically and verbally abusive relationship) to where God has brought her to (freedom, confidence, hope) I began crying.  This is what we do for "work!"  We get to be a part of young people being set free from addictions and hurts and stepping into the life God planned for them...into their true identity!  Of our 8 students, 5 are continuing on with YWAM (2 here in Kona, 1 in Australia, and 2 in Panama) and the other 3 plan to return next year to continue on with secondary schools in order to pursue medical missions.  SO awesome!  We are so very proud of them all.

To update your on some issues from our last blog: I am now 21 weeks pregnant and doing well!  As many of you know, we had an appointment on Oahu a couple of weeks ago for a special, in depth ultrasound and all looks well with the development of our baby BOY thus far!  Hallelujah!  We have another appointment there in 2 1/2 weeks for an echocardiograph to check on the development of his heart due to our history.  Please pray all is well.  I am feeling him move like crazy, which is great, and I have a feeling he is going to be a beautiful wild thing like his big brother!  In regards to the housing situation, we were accepted into the housing we mentioned and are praying into whether or not it is the right place/timing for our family.  As you may know, we have been without a car since our return in April.  We are being blessed by my sweet baby sister in a couple weeks as she is giving us her car when she heads back home to California.  Praise the Lord again and so thankful for her generosity and faithfulness!  By the way, it is an '89 Nissan Maxima and we have been praying for more of a family vehicle as we are expecting our 2nd little guy in April.  Yesterday a fellow YWAMer asked us if we would be interested in buying their mini-van come March when their family leaves for Micronesia.  She said they want to bless someone and would sell it for $300-400!  We'll let you know how that goes.  Oh, and Samuel picked up potty training pretty quickly.  Another hallelujah!
Baby Boy Keach...arriving April 2015!
Samuel listening intently to his Sunday school teacher, Ms. Yvette from Camaroon!
Lastly, I have been writing this with a very heavy heart.  We found out today that one of the DTS students from the main campus went missing while hiking on Saturday and they found her body yesterday.  It seems that she drowned in a heavy river current.  When Morgan came home and told me this I began crying and hit the floor praying for her parents.  Even before we lost Sarah I had a real soft spot for parents that have lost children, but now it affects me even more.  I experienced the worst pain I have ever known when we lost our Sarah and I imagine it is only a fraction of what Lindsey's parents are feeling.  I ask that you would please keep her family in your prayers as well as the rest of the students, leaders, etc here.

As always, we TRULY appreciate you and your support.  Please continue to pray for us and PLEASE let us know if we can be praying for you in a specific way.  Also, update us on your life!

Much love,

Morgan, Lisa, Samuel and Baby Boy Keach

Prayer Requests:
1) For a continued healthy pregnancy and baby boy
2) That we would have wisdom and discernment to raise Samuel up in the way he should go, and of course for his health/safety
3) For a happy, healthy marriage with open communication...that we would stand back to back (thank you, Nancy Sanchez!)
4) Clarity on our housing situation
5) For increased monthly financial support
